Trained at University of Oxford, Pawel Maciejko is a Lecturer at the Department of Jewish Thought at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His interests fall within the history of Jewish heterodoxy and heresy in general, and the history of the Sabbatian movement in particular. He is the author of many publications on these subjects and has lectured at numerous academic institutions worldwide, including the University of Chicago, Jagellonian University in Krakow, and the École des hautes études en sciences sociales in Paris. His book on Frankism has been accepted for publication by University of Pennsylvania Press.
