Kathy Jones is Head of Interpretation at Event Communication, the museum design practice developing the Core Exhibition for the Museum of the History of Polish Jews. Kathy has been a member of the team for ten years, since the project’s inception. Her museum career has unfolded in Poland and the UK.
At Event she has developed the interpretative approach for a number of complex and sensitive projects, including the concept and storyline for Slave Lodge in Capetown, Lincoln City and County Museum, the Commandery in Worcester, the Tank Museum in Dorset, Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery in Glasgow and the recently opened Jewish Museum in London.
Prior to that she led the acquisitions program for the Holocaust Exhibition at the Imperial War Museum and worked as a curator at Warsaw’s Centre of Contemporary Art. She studied history at Sheffield University.
Kathy will be presenting the Museum of the History of Polish Jews’ Core Exhibition, which is currently in detail design.
